A Hole in my Heart
My very dear "brother from another mother" passed away this past Saturday. There is a HUGE HOLE in my heart and in my life. But, he was an amazing person! He was born 48 years ago with Spina Bifida and defied all the medical expectations. He walked without any assistive devices, work a full time job, drove all over the place and lived 20+ years longer than the medical life expectancy. He was a talented musician and loved to build and launch model rockets--he was a real kid at heart. His body is being donated to science, so that even in his death he might help others. I love you and miss you Timmy!
